Evan Buswell is a recent graduate from the Cultural Studies program at UC Davis. He works in the intersections between theory and philosophy, code and computing, and economic history. Evan's current project investigates the relationship between the development of the capitalist credit system and the formation of code and algebraic notation. Evan is also a practicing critical coder and engineer. He has worked on several games and code art projects, and is currently designing and producing electronic musical instruments. Evan received his master's degree in English from Portland State University and his bachelor's degree in philosophy from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
